In addition, in 2021 we introduced lil SOLID into the Bulgarian market, and in 2024 we started offering the VEEV vaping devices, expanding our multicategory portfolio.

The range of conventional products in our portfolio includes Marlboro, Parliament, L&M, Muratti and Mr. Philip Morris.

Why we are a Top Employer

Philip Morris Bulgaria has been certified as Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute for the eighth consecutive year. The prestigious Best Employer and Employer Brand award is given for the various employee development programs, the excellent working conditions, and the care for each member of the company's team. Last but not least is our policy of tolerance and inclusion.

Care for employees in the organization is at the highest level. Excellent wellbeing programs and the opportunity for smart working (the employees can work from home 60% of the working week) are just some examples. Philip Morris International is also the first international company to obtain the reputable international award – the EQUAL SALARY certificate for equal pay for equal work.

Sustainable development

Sustainable development is at the forefront in the company, and it is not just part of our business strategy, it is the business strategy itself. The awareness-raising campaign of Philip Morris Bulgaria "Change The Picture", which presents the facts related to the global problem of cigarette butt littering to the public and appeals for responsible consumer behavior is a testament of this. In 2024 the campaign scope was expanded to bring into focus recycling of used electronic devices and responsible consumer behavior towards the environment. One of the steps towards achieving a sustainable future is the "Recycle Together" program, which aims to reduce plastic and electronics waste and ensure that critical components such as electronic device batteries are properly disposed of.

The "Summer for Joy, Autumn for Care" program is also an example of social responsibility and support for local communities as part of our sustainable development policy. The tenth anniversary edition of the program was launched in the summer of 2024 with 15 educational and adventure academies for students from 1st to 4th grade in 15 settlements in Bulgaria. The program is implemented for the 10th consecutive year in six regions of Bulgaria where tobacco production has traditionally been a main source of income - the regions of Blagoevgrad, Kardzhali, Razgrad, Silistra, Haskovo and Shumen. The program includes free summer education academies, teacher training, and medical care for the elderly. A key element of the program is the Academy for Local Entrepreneurs, which supports local start-ups in these areas through training and funding.
