PMI’s global goal is to have over two-thirds of total net revenue from smoke-free products by 2030. In the Nordic region, we have already reached that goal, and we are now working towards the national goal of reducing the proportion of daily smokers to less than 5 percent of the adult population.

In Sweden, we are approximately 1,400 employees with the ambition to become the adult nicotine users’ first choice. Our strategy is based on our ability to work effectively. For us, that means operating in regulatory and tax environments that support the goal of reducing harm and giving adult smokers access to smoke-free alternatives. It also means seeing our employees as our strongest asset. We focus on developing our teams to grow and win together and to be a great place to work. Efficiency also means integrating sustainability into all parts of our business, guided by Agenda 2030 and Science-Based targets.

We have talented employees, top international and local brands, a unique corporate culture, in-depth category knowledge, and access to PMI’s international experience and infrastructure. In addition, we have our long and proud history. In total, there are approximately 1,600 employees in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, including production facilities in Gothenburg, Kungälv and Gotland, our own stores and in Swedish Match’s innovation centre in Stockholm, as well as museums at Skansen in Stockholm.
